Mayor London Breed’s ballot initiative to loosen restrictions on the Police Department has another big tech backer: Emmet Shear, the co-founder of Twitch and the CEO of Open AI for 72 hours. Shear is joined by Chris Larsen of Ripple, angel investor Ron Conway, and other donors to Prop E whose contributions make it the March election’s highest-funded ballot measure.

Natali Juarez is the 21-year-old powerhouse behind a new Salvadoran restaurant opening next week on Valencia. (She tried to open her first place, in Vis Valley, at 18.) Read Xueer Lu’s great interview with Juarez, then go check out the food.
