The massive Potrero Bus Yard housing complex, planned for 465 affordable apartments, has been slashed to 100 units. SFMTA says the original project is “well beyond what we can afford.”
And speaking of housing: Does D2 Supervisor Stephen Sherill support Mayor Lurie’s controversial upzoning plan? Well, which way is the wind blowing? “No is not the answer,” Sherrill told constituentsโbut he declined to commit to a “yes.”
Update: Mission Local is following Miguel Lopez, who came to the U.S. in 1996 and was deported to Mexico after an ongoing effort to keep his green card status. Annika Hom and Sage Rรญos Mace look at the latest in the case, which has kept Lopez and his family in limbo for over a decade.
