Duo Gadjo Quartet
Isabelle Fontaine, originally from the French countryside, and San Francisco native Jeff Magidson are the duo behind Duo Gadjo. Isabelle brings a deep love for French chanson, gypsy jazz, and the American Songbook to her performances, blending vocals and rhythm guitar with charm and precision. Jeff, a multi-instrumentalist and seasoned performer, spent two decades immersed in the French blues scene before discovering Django Reinhardt’s music, which became a lifelong passion. Together, they create a vibrant, cross-cultural sound rooted in swing, jazz, and chanson française.
