SF Mime Troupe Studio: Youth Theater Project

For the 28th year (wow!) SFMT’s Youth Theater Project (YTP) is busy writing and rehearsing their original theatrical production, a series of short scenes and monologues. The premiere and one day only performance will be Saturday, March 30 at 3pm (doors open 2:30pm) at the Mime Troupe Studio, 855 Treat Ave, in the Mission. The themes and stories come from the experiences and perspectives of the teen artists themselves, mentored and produced by a dedicated YTP teaching team. As in previous years, the audience will gain rare insight into how our youth see and feel about the current world in which they live. Although admission is free, a $20 donation is suggested but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. No RSVP needed. Seating is limited and first come, first serve. An early arrival is a good idea as street parking is tricky. Come and hear what our future has to say about today.
