ODC Theater: ODC Dance Jam 2026 presents: Reminiscence
The Dance Jam is ODC’s pre-professional contemporary dance company, located in the Mission District of San Francisco. Established in 1996, the Jam offers a rigorous program of cross training in contemporary, ballet, Pilates, composition, and rehearsals. In addition to training and further performance opportunities, the Dance Jam produces their own home season at the ODC Theater, providing a rich understanding and knowledge of backstage production alongside the choreographic experience in the studio and onstage.
Reminiscence celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Dance Jam, reflecting the remarkable journey of passionate young dancers throughout the recent decades. The six current Jam members will perform works by ODC Artistic Director Brenda Way, ODC Associate Choreographer Kimi Okada, Dexandro Montalvo, Babatunji Johnson, and a world premiere by the Dance Jam Associate Director Doug Gillespie.
