ODC Theater: ODC Dance Jam 2025 presents: From the Ground Up

The Dance Jam is ODC’s teen contemporary dance company, located in the Mission District of San Francisco. Established in 1996, the Jam offers a rigorous program of cross training in Contemporary, Ballet, Pilates, Composition, and Choreography classes. In addition to training and further performance opportunities, the Dance Jam produces their own home season at the ODC Theater, providing a rich understanding and knowledge of backstage production alongside the choreographic experience in the studio and onstage.

From the Ground Up explores the interconnectedness of human nature amidst a transforming world. Within shared vulnerability comes growing resilience to the ever-shifting forces that shape us, as we navigate the delicate balance between control and uncertainty. Rooted in solidarity, we rise through new beginnings, finding the strength to rebuild and embrace a flourishing future.
