Join our beginners’ painting class! We will learn how to use line + shape + color to create a composition, likeness, and mood. Equipped with a variety of techniques, you’ll capture your model successfully! You are welcome to bring a photo reference of someone you would like to paint—we will also have images from magazines available.

Rhonel Roberts is a local artist with a studio based in Hunter’s Point Shipyard for over 20 years. His artwork is represented all over San Francisco, at locations including Kaiser Permanente, UCSF Medical Center, La Boulangerie, and more.

Rhonel will lead this class at Michelle Thomas Fine Art Gallery + Studio, 40 29th St, San Francisco 94110.
