Manny’s: May Community Dinner – Love, Loneliness and Belonging

Jeffersonian Dinners are a get-together over dinner where one meaningful conversation is shared, exchanging different perspectives. The dinners originated in the 1800s with President Thomas Jefferson.

Our topic this evening will be Love, Loneliness, and the Modern Search for Belonging

Questions to unpack include –

In an era of unprecedented connection, why do so many people feel lonely, and what can we do about it?
Does marriage matter and will it exist in a century?
Can you love more than one person?
Everyone is having less sex -why?
Is being alone a stigma or empowering?

Dinner will include a delicious buffet with meat, gluten free and vegan options. Beer and wine available for purchase.

We encourage attendees to come alone and meet new people.
