Kwynasia Young, a Philly native, redefines textile art by merging crochet tradition with elegant couture, contemporary interior design and the digital age.

Kwynasia’s crochet journey began in 2020 with wearables and home decor. Her tangible creations act as catalysts, sparking open discussions that revolve around viewing growth as a journey rather than a destination.

This concept is embodied in ‘living’ gowns, wearable in their current form yet ever-evolving with each showing, and in discarded denim transformed into functional home decor. Expanding her creative horizons, she now ventures into the realm of freeform crochet, crafting captivating crochet portraiture. Beyond the tangible, she explores the digital domain, seamlessly blending the tactile artistry of crochet with the limitless possibilities of the digital realm.
