Luna Rienne Gallery and J Rozenberg are pleased to present Berisford: A Collection Of Paintings By A Londoner In California.

Berisford’s first-ever solo exhibition offers a captivating exploration of Americana through the lens of an outsider with a deep appreciation for his adopted country. His dynamic mix of pop culture and abstract work blend vivid colors with bold compositions to evoke nostalgia, modernism, and a fresh perspective on American life.

Berisford creates large-format realism and abstract paintings that highlight his impasto brushwork and bold design. He studied graphic design in his native London before embarking on a 25-year career in advertising. Soon after moving to the San Francisco Bay Area, he quit to become a fine artist. Drawing on his heritage as an art director, his composition is strong and graphic, using negative space to offset his subject matter.

Berisford: A Collection Of Paintings By A Londoner In California will be on exhibit from September 28 through November 3, 2024 at Luna Rienne Gallery, 3318 22nd Street near Valencia in San Francisco, which features visual artists working in contemporary mediums who integrate elements of urban culture with traditional techniques.

The opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 28, from 6PM until 9PM
