GalerΓ­a de la Raza is excited to invite you to the launch of 𝒯𝒽𝑒 π‘€π’Άπ‘”π“ƒπ‘œπ“π’Ύπ’Ά 𝒯𝓇𝑒𝑒 𝒒𝒢𝓏𝒾𝓃𝑔: π’œ π’žπ‘’π“π‘’π’·π“‡π’Άπ“‰π’Ύπ‘œπ“ƒ π‘œπ’» π’¬π“Šπ‘’π‘’π“‡ π’«π‘œπ‘’π“‰π’Ύπ’Έπ“ˆ by ReGen Artist Fund grantee Lourdes Figueroa.

The Celebration of Queer Poetics Anthology Project is a poetry anthology and workshop series reflecting the diverse queer voices forming Bay Area Literary Landscape. This artisan made book grew from a six-week generative poetry workshop crafted by Lourdes Figueroa in the Mission District, focusing on bipocx queer poetics offering a tender space to explore and create poetry. The printed anthology is a collaboration between Lourdes Figueroa, The Celebration of Queer Poetics Workshop, and MurciΓ©lago Prensa, Cinthia Marisol Lozano Garcia Amaya.

Join us for a night of love and ternura to celebrate the first volume of this anthology and hear the work created by workshop poets Juju Martinez, MarΓ­a Esquinca, Maribel MartΓ­nez, MelΓ­ GΓ³mez, Michelle NgΓ΄, and Zander Moreno.
