Drawing Room Mission: Open Studios 2024

Okay so if you’re new here, there’s some serious history for us with this space and what’s about to happen for us again here but in a much bigger more sustainable way. In 2019, just prior to COVID, we activated this space, brought it back to life and hosted 9 exhibitions here – and all but 2 were during the darkest parts of the lockdown. The space was large enough to allow us to be “open” and we could actually work inside. We hosted a teen skate/mural camp, and showcased a LOT of artists through our curation over that first Annex year when Courtney Norris and I started to collaborate and curate together. It’s with a tremendous amount of excitement that we have re-acquired this space and all that we can potentially do with it this time around and with the momentum we’ve built over these past 6 years. The 1st time we opened this space, we hosted ArtSpan’s Holiday Market (2019) and now 5 years later – we are doing it again with OPEN STUDIOS and an incredible group of artists who will be filling the walls with their works!
