Brava Theater: SFBATCO presents New Roots Theatre Festival 2023

New Roots is a 3-day theatre festival that champions the development and staging of new works by Bay Area creatives and connects audiences with artists.

This year, SFBATCO is thrilled to bring 50 artists, 15 performances, 5 arts organizations to the Brava Theater Center for 1 weekend of live theatre, staged readings, artist talkbacks, community engagement, mingling, parties, and more.

The 2023 festival features 2 SFBATCO original projects and 4 projects by Bay Area legacy companies:

Zaccho Dance Theatre, Campo Santo, Magic Theatre, AfroSolo, SF Recovery Theatre
