18 Reasons: Festive Indian Party Foods

May 15 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
A bowl of colorful Indian party food garnished with herbs and vegetables is shown. Text details a cooking class on May 15, 6-10 pm, taught by Meghna Agarwal.

A lively, flavor-packed class inspired by India’s most beloved snack foods. We will learn to make a spread of crowd-pleasing favorites like kathi rolls, gobi manchurian, and bhel puri—perfect for movie nights, game days, or casual entertaining. Along the way, you’ll master techniques from Indian street food, Indo-Chinese cooking, and classic North Indian party snacks, from frying and sautéing to assembling vibrant chaats and rolls. We’ll also explore how to balance bold, crave-worthy flavors using chutneys, spices, and sauces that bring these dishes to life. To round out the experience, you’ll mix a refreshing masala nimbu soda (with an optional cocktail twist). By the end, you’ll feel confident recreating a fun, shareable Indian snack spread at home.
