March 17 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Close-up of hands chopping purple cabbage on a cutting board; text details a Basic Knife Skills class on March 17, 6-9 PM, taught by Linda Tay Esposito.

Join Chef Linda for a class on the basics of using your chef’s knife at home. We will discuss the ins and outs of knife use, care, honing, and safety. You will walk away more confident in cutting vegetables and herbs with an array of essential skills. Beginners welcome!

This class includes our Knife Skills manual for reference when cooking at home. The vegetables cut in this class will be used to create a delicious salad with flavorful garnishes: fried shallots, minced chili, roasted peanuts, and marinated and roasted tofu. We’ll toast to our sharp skills with a glass of wine, beer, or an NA spritz.
