The old Grand Theater (now a 99-cent store) hasn’t shown a movie in years, but now you can get coffee at its former concession stand. Nabeel Silmi, a bartender at Foreign Cinema, just opened Grand Coffee there. Tablehopper reports that iced lattes are made in a cocktail shaker, and describes an “off-the-menu liquid affogato: a layered shot of cane syrup, Clover half and half, and Four Barrel espresso.”
