2nd Street: Downtown First Thursdays

DFT is Back JULY 4!
It’s a new SF tradition! Grab your friends and head downtown for Downtown First Thursdays, coming at you with a special July 4 edition. Get ready for more live music, food, drag, DJs, free all-ages activities to fill up the nigth.
The fun takes place on 2nd Street (between Market and Howard) and along neighboring alleyways on Jessie, Minna, and Natoma Streets.
DFT also features three outdoor bars, dozens of food and shopping vendors, family-friendly activities, dancing in the streets, and so much more!

Motown on Mondays (MOM DJs) kick off the party on 2nd Street @ Howard from 5-7pm.
Hot Dog Eating Contest with Peaches Christ!:
Local drag legend Peaches Christ hosts a hot dog eating contest you won’t want to miss!
5:30pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm | 2nd @ Jessie Street.
Glow in the Dark Parade:
YOU are the light show! Wear your best glow in the dark and light up gear and meet at Howard and 2nd Streets between 8:30pm and 9pm for a Glow in the Dark parade to Market St. Then, stay and hang with us at DFT or exit on Market Street and head down to Embarcadero for San Francisco’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show!
Monthly performances curated by: The Midway, Another Planet Entertainment, Noise Pop, KALW, Grace Towers, A Little x, and Yerba Buena Gardens Festival.
