Manny’s: Chronicle Live at Manny’s: Data Trivia Night!

How well do you know the Bay Area? Do you know which city in the region grew fastest over the last decade? How about the Bay Area county with the highest mountain peak?

Test your local numbers knowledge at the San Francisco Chronicle’s second annual Bay Area Data Trivia Night on February 21st at Manny’s, and compete against your neighbors for bragging rights and prizes!

Join the Chronicle Data Team and guests from around the newsroom for a special evening that will test your knowledge of San Francisco and the Bay Area.

Among other topics, our quiz questions will tackle the region’s demographics, politics and sports. We will also have a few guest trivia masters from the Chronicle newsroom, including assistant food editor Caleb Pershan and columnist and culture critic Peter Hartlaub, to ask quantitative queries about their areas of expertise. (Hint: Want a leg up on the competition? Study the Data Team’s recent work!)

Quiz teams of anywhere from two to six people can compete, and we’ll help individual players find friends to play with. Prizes will go to the top three squads, including an announcement in the S.F. Chronicle pronouncing the winners as the “Bay Area’s top data nerds.” Let the data games begin!

This is a two-hour event. Tickets start from $5 for individuals and go up to $20 for a six-person team.
