18 Reasons: Tasting Seminar: Rosé & Cheese Pairing – In Person

A 90-minute tasting seminar, served with crackers to cleanse the palate. This class is limited to 24 students and all guests must be at least 21 years of age. See our registration policies here and our rules for in-person events here.

Celebrate the season’s rosés and the cheeses that love them. This class is made for spring and summer sipping. New rosés are just being released, it’s light and bright cheese season, and goat and sheep milk cheeses are in their prime. Think pink and salmon-colored rosé or bubbles, paired to bright, freshly-made softies, and a maybe an aged wedge or two.

In this class, cheese and wine expert Kirstin Jackson will lead you through a delicious tasting of 4 wines and 7 cheeses that will leave you inspired for the season.

Author of It’s Not You, it’s Brie: Unwrapping America’s Unique Culture of Cheese, Kirstin Jackson is a cheesemaking teacher, wine and cheese educator, and writer. She loves teaching people how to make ricotta and creamy burrata pillows as much as she adores pairing her new favorite local cheese with wine. She blames her parents who took her on trips to the California dairy country at a very young age for feeding her current obsession.
