Police found a deaf woman in her 20s at a gas station near 16th Street and South Van Ness Avenue at 2:40 a.m. this morning who had a laceration on her chin, a contusion on her forehead, and chest pain. The woman gestured that she was assaulted and pointed out a 43-year-old man nearby, indicating that he had attacked her on South Van Ness between 14th and Erie streets. During the course of the assault, she told police, she had lost consciousness.

Police arrested the suspect. The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.

Assault At Bus Stop

Shortly before midnight on Wednesday night, a 32-year-old woman got off a bus at 16th Street and South Van Ness Avenue. Two women and a man approached her and threw her to the ground, where they kicked and punched her. The suspects fled the scene without taking anything from the woman, but left her with a laceration to her eye, and general pain in her face.

The woman was transported to San Francisco General Hospital in non-life-threatening condition and no arrests were made.

Attempted Robbery and Robbery

At around 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, a man driving a grey four-door Nissan approached a woman in her 20s exiting a cannabis dispensary near Guerrero and 14th streets and pulled out two handguns. He threatened the victim, who ran back in to the dispensary to call the police. No arrest was made.

Later the same day, at 7:32 p.m., a youth, estimated to be 15 or 16 years old, approached a 14-year-old boy on Florida Street between 23rd and 24th streets and threatened him with a knife while two other male teenagers looked on from across the street. The suspect told the victim to hand over his jacket. When the victim complied, the suspect fled on skateboards.
