In the past two days, four robberies occurred in the Mission District. One of them resulted in the arrest of two suspects.

At the corner of 16th and Mission Tuesday evening, shortly before 6 p.m., a 35-year-old woman was approached by a man and woman, also in their 30s, who grabbed her hair and stole her purse. The two hair-grabbing suspects fled the scene on foot.

Later that same night, around 8 p.m., a black sedan pulled up next to a 20-year-old man walking near the corner of Harrison and 21st Street. A suspect in his early 20s jumped out of the car and punched the 20-year-old in the face and pulled his smartphone out of his hands. The suspect then got back in his vehicle and sped off leaving the victim of the robbery with minor injuries to his face.

At Market and Dolores at 2 a.m. Wednesday, two male suspects, aged 27 and 22-years-old, came up to 20 year-old man walking on Market Street and punched him in the face. They then grabbed his backpack which contained clothing and a passport. While the suspects fled the scene they were soon apprehended by officers who detained the two men.

Wednesday night, at around 10:40 p.m., three suspects, two male and one female, approached a 36-year-old man near the corner of Mission and 16th Street. One of the suspects struck the man with the gun while another grabbed his wallet and cell phone. The suspects fled the scene leaving the man with minor injuries.
