All you out of towners need to stop slippin! Look over your shoulder and be cautious of your surroundings! I see yups being oblivious in some shady situations with some shady characters around.
Oh please… It’s not out of towners. I work at 18th @ Treat and live at Dolores @ 16th (and have for 20 years). I CONSTANTLY see people who live here doing stupid shit like this. It’s people who feel too comfortable, which are rarely out of towners.
That’s right, the Mission isn’t safe and the SFPD won’t protect you here, yups and out of towners !
If you are going to publish a license plate of the car jacked, it will help to include a car description.
Mission Local doesn’t publish useful details like descriptions of violent criminals either. Why is this?
Mission Local will publish specific descriptions if it is significantly helpful in identifying a suspect. Police usually do not report to us specific descriptors beyond race and age. A descriptor such as race or ethnicity probably will not bring the average reader any closer to identifying a potentially dangerous individual. Thanks for your comment, Brian.
So you just hand over your $700 iPad to a stranger and it was taken hmmm “moment”
