A parade of three dozen 49ers-themed lowriders will cruise up and down 24th Street after the Super Bowl today, regardless of whether the team wins or loses.

The Chronicle reports that Mission District artist and community organizer Roberto Hernandez will be leading the way after a block party outside of his home. “We’ve been waiting for this day for 18 years,” he says.
