Two police officers who were involved in a single-vehicle collision on Potrero Avenue on Nov. 1 are out of the hospital, and a third was upgraded to serious condition, police announced on Friday.

The officers were responding to a report of a man with knife at 24th and York streets when they collided with a light pole at the corner of 19th and Potrero at 1:42 on Tuesday morning. At the time of the accident, all three male officers were taken to San Francisco General Hospital, one of them in critical condition.

The cause is still being investigated, according to the SFPD.
