ODC Theater: pateldanceworks – wild light

wild light is a performance experience tussling with alienation and imagined futures to peer gently at queer femininity and its place at the margins of both queerness and femme culture. Inspired by Donna Haraway’s queer, feminist, speculative fiction work “The Camille Stories: Children of Compost,” this two-part performance experience travels through time and space and lands four hundred years into the future to imagine beyond the beyond, where lines between human and more-than-human dissolve.

Friday evening will include a post-show discussion with Bhumi B Patel and Yayoi Kambara.
Saturday evening will include a reception.
Sunday afternoon will include a celebratory toast.
