Two San Francisco sheriff’s deputies were involved in a collision at 13th and Folsom streets Wednesday afternoon.

“Both suffered moderate injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment,” said Tara Moriarty, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office. “There were no injuries to the other driver.”

A report from the crime-watch app Citizen indicates the two-car crash occurred around 2:30 p.m. Firefighters were on the scene.

The reason for the crash is unclear. An investigation is underway, according to Moriarty.
