The Art Wall, on Valencia Street between 23rd and 24th streets, has been a part of the Mission District art and graffiti scene since Bruce Tomb purchased the old police station in a city auction in 1996 and turned it into a home and architecture studio.
Tomb, who paid $560,000 for the station, sold it in 2019 to Mission Neighborhood Centers for $6.8 million.
The Art Wall has been retained. Matthew Lasar shot this video on Thursday, March 6, 2025.

I live around there. To call an art wall is a strech..some good political posters from time to time but for the rest, no art in sight! it is oftern use as an advertising wall.
