If I understand correctly, prop L makes contemporary taxi transportation more expensive so we can fund public transportation without actually raising taxes… This tax targets those of us who use ride-hailing services.
Voted yes.
It’s time for private ride hailing to chip in for their use of public space. Money raised could go anywhere in the general fund, SFMTA is fine by me.
