I generally think that the emphasis on crime in the city is overblown, but it’s very unnerving that these incidents keep happening at populous transit stops during normal hours for people to be there.
To Janeโs comment above:
โโฆthese incidents keep happeningโฆโ โ **in the Mission**
Itโs likely not a coincidence that the population that most thinks that the emphasis on crime is overblown, is the population most taken advantage of to commit crimes.
I’ve lived in el Corazon/24th St for over twenty-two years and recently moved to the Dogpatch. What a relief! The Dogpatch is a wonderful neighborhood these days. The Mission is a gigantic mess. I can’t figure out why the city has abandoned the Mission, but it has. Racism? Classism? Who knows, but it does seem purposeful, like the city wants the Mission to be a mess. Not sure why exactly.
I wanted to know if there was any more information on the 24th in Mission shooting that happened October 20 24 where the man was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries thank you
