Wendy Steinmetz, one of the owners of Thrift Town, which closed in 2017 after 45 years on Mission Street, wrote us to say they are looking for a home for the huge parrot sculpture that lived in the store for more than 20 years.
Nowadays, he’s in storage in Sacramento, but the owners need to find him a new home, as they are losing their storage space.

The parrot is about 10 feet tall by four feet wide.
