There were two unrelated robberies targeting women in their mid-20s in the Mission District on Monday night, resulting in the loss of a purse and laptop but no injuries.

Near 1:30 a.m. on Monday, a 28-year-old woman was walking near 18th and Bryant streets when a man in his 30s approached her and grabbed a laptop bag from her shoulder. The man then fled on foot. The police have not made an arrest.

At 9:19 p.m. on Monday, a 26-year-old woman was walking down 22nd Street near Treat Avenue when a 25-year-old man approached her from behind and grabbed her purse. The man then fled southbound on Treat in a red SUV. The police have not made an arrest.
