Shots were fired just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, police report, at 19th and Folsom streets. When officers arrived, they located several casings but no victim.

One man who works nearby said the shots were fired from a car – police report two vehicles may have been involved, a silver sedan and a black sedan.

“A lot of pops went down the street,” the man said, adding that he heard maybe six or seven shots before “they then stopped pretty abruptly.”

No suspect description is available.

Fire Investigation

At 2:21 a.m on Wednesday, firefighters responded to a call about three trash cans on fire on Valencia Street near Duboce Avenue. The fire was extinguished without injuring anyone or damaging anything. No suspect description was available.
