Police report a female suspect left voicemails threatening to blow up a building on Fair Oaks Street between 22nd and 23rd streets, first on Wednesday, September 14 and again at 9:14 a.m. on Thursday, September 15. Police began an evacuation protocol and sent a bomb dog in to sweep the building, but no evidence of a bomb was found and no arrest was made.

Shooting

At 12:30 a.m. on Friday, September 16, police officers heard shots fired on Hampshire Street near 19th street. They located a 20-year-old victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound on his leg, who told officers that someone had approached him and shot him, then fled on foot. No arrest has been made, and the victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injury.
