A 28-year-old woman was walking near 13th and Mission streets early Tuesday morning when she was punched and pushed against a wall by two men, who then robbed her and fled on foot.

At 1:30 a.m., the woman was walking down 13th Street when two men — one in his 50s, one in his 30s — asked her for a cigarette. The man in his 30s then punched the woman in the cheek and grabbed her neck, shoving her against a wall. The man took a cell phone out of her pocket as the other suspect watched. Both men then fled on foot.

The woman did not seek medical treatment, and the police have not made an arrest.

Crime is trauma and the county offers different services. Here is a link to a page of services.

Victims of violent crime can also contact the Trauma Recovery Center at UCSF.
