A 28-year-old man was sent to the hospital after being robbed in the Mission District early Friday morning.

At 2:30 a.m., the man was standing on the corner of 22nd and Alabama streets when two men in their 20s walked up to him and kicked him in the groin before stealing his cash. The man was sent to the hospital in stable condition, and the police have not made an arrest.

And at 1:48 p.m. on Thursday, the police report a fire in the second floor of an apartment building on 18th Street between Harrison and Alabama streets. None of the buildings on the block showed any damage, and the Fire Department did not immediately return a request for comment on the extent of the fire.

Crime is trauma and the county offers different services. Here is a link to a page of services.

Victims of violent crime can also contact the Trauma Recovery Center at UCSF.
