A 46-year-old man was walking near 24th and Shotwell streets at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday when he was approached by two men in their 20s. Without exchanging any words, the suspects punched the victim in the face and knocked him to the ground before running away. The suspects did not steal anything from the victim, who was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening cuts and bruises to the face, as well as pain to the arm. The police have not made an arrest.

And on Sunday at 5:40 a.m., a 67-year-old man was sleeping in his apartment on Dolores Street near 24th Street when someone entered his garage — which had been left open the night before — and stole his grey Toyota SUV, as well as a generator, torch kit, and other car keys. The police do not have a suspect and have not made an arrest.
