Police report a 41-year-old man was briefly kidnapped and then robbed early Monday morning. The man was approached from behind by two men on Mission Street between 16th and 17th streets at 5 a.m. on Monday.
One of the men threatened the victim with a knife, and the two men then forced the victim into a nearby hotel room. They then got the victim to hand over his wallet, before fleeing the hotel. The victim was uninjured, and the suspects were not arrested.
