Valentine’s Day is going to be all over the Mission this weekend, so for those of you looking for something to do in the neighborhood, there are plenty of options.

If you’re ready to really dive into sex, love and feminism, you should check out the very explicit but also complex and meditative play “Reveal All Fear Nothing,” showing this weekend at the Armory. The piece, developed by two women well known in the world of feminist pornography, is an experimental theater journey that aims the spotlight at the misunderstood world of pornography, kink and BDSM. For additional details and a better explanation, check out Siouxsie Q’s column in SF Weekly. The show runs Friday through Sunday, and tickets start at $22.

Too hard core? Alright, here’s something that doesn’t even involve romance, just puppy love: The SPCA is having a Lonely Hearts adoption event, which means free adoptions, except for a $21 dog registration fee unique to San Francisco that local dog owners still have to pay. But hey, if you’re not trying to meet your human soulmate, maybe the remedy for your lonely heart is a furry friend?

And if paws and tails aren’t going to soothe your heartache, there’s always the traditional cure: Food.

Sugarbear Ice Cream is having a pop-up tasting session at Mateo’s Taqueria (2471 Mission St.) from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Flavors on hand will include Passion Fruit, Horchata, Vanilla Cardamom, and Chocolate Rose. Then there’s the SoMa StrEat Food Park’s Valentine’s Day brunch on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. featuring cuisines from around the world as well as live music and the ever-tempting bottomless mimosas. For homebodies, BiRite has created a luxurious take-home spread of precooked meals that include sous vide stuffed chicken dishes and handmade lobster tortellini. And, they’ve got you covered for last minute flowers, with florists stationed outside all day Saturday and Sunday.

For jitterbugs, there are plenty of opportunities to take (or find!) your partner and go dancing.

At Public Works, AYLI Valentine’s Day Love Affair from 9 p.m. on Sunday to 3 a.m. on Monday will beckon you to bounce to electronic beats, with jams spun by Robag Wruhme, Doc Martin, Bells&Whistles and more.

For a different groove, try Wonder Dog Rescue’s Luck of the Draw Sweetheart’s Dance at Alley Cat Books on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with live Bluegrass and some Lindy Hop and square dance lessons included.  Animal art auction, wine, chocolate and food are also on the agenda.

Of course there’s also Mission Cultural Center’s “Corazón del Barrio” annual open house from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, which features a whole list of music and dancing along with crafts and foods, and even a bounce house . Plus, see if you can catch the MCCLA Carnaval contingent from 3:00 to 4:30.

Orquesta Adelante will also perform on Sunday, bringing you the sounds of salsa, merengue and Cumbia at El Rio from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Bonus love on this Dia de Amor: Salsa Sunday’s proceeds always go to a local LGBT nonprofit.

If you’ve got two left feet but you still want to get out there, try the Chapel’s Sunday night concert. Crooner Sophie B Hawkins will tug at your heartstrings with her new album full of stories of love, betrayal and hope. You’d rather sing yourself? Okay then, head to the Roxie’s 80’s Power Ballat Sing-Along at 9:15 p.m. on Sunday to get your Guns ‘N’ Roses, Bon Jovi and Warrant fix, and maybe even “hold lighters in the air and sway,” and  “pound our fists at the sky in defiance of those who would dare not love us.”
