A 25-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint last night at 11:45 p.m. near the corner of 16th and San Bruno after accepting a ride from a stranger in his late 20s earlier in the night.

“A stranger drove up and offered her a ride in the area of Mariposa and Bryant,” said Officer Gordon Shyy of the police department. “When they got to San Bruno and 16th, the suspect brandished a knife and demanded her belongings.”

The woman was robbed of a black jacket, wallet, cash, ID, and fast pass card before being pushed out of the vehicle. She sustained no injuries, and the suspect drove away in a newer white Ford sedan. The police have not made an arrest.
