A 36-year-old man walked into a hospital Thursday morning at 1:50 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim did not cooperate with police, however, and provided no information, so the police have no suspects nor have they made any arrests.
Burglary Theft of Diabetes Kit
On Wednesday at 1:43 a.m. a man of unknown age was sleeping in his apartment on Bryant Street between 17th and Mariposa while someone snuck in and stole the man’s keys, wallet, cash, and diabetes testing kit. The man was undisturbed during the burglary, but video footage showed a suspect entering and stealing the victim’s items. The police have no suspects, however, and have made no arrests.
Victim Punched, Robbed at Knifepoint
On the outskirts of the Mission on Church Street between 22nd and 23rd, a 37-year-old woman was punched in the mouth and robbed at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The female victim was walking near Church and 23rd when she was approached by two men in their early 20s and punched in the mouth. One of the men brandished a knife and took the victim’s purse before fleeing the scene. The police have not made an arrest.
Two Robberies
On Thursday at 2:15 a.m., a 22-year-old man was speaking with a man in his 20s near 26th and Mission when the latter grabbed the victim’s wallet and cell phone. The 22-year-old victim struggled to keep his things but only managed to hold onto the cell phone. The suspect fled with the man’s wallet. The police have not made an arrest.
And 30 minutes later at 2:45 a.m., a 31-year-old man was parking his car on Florida Street between 18th and 19th when he was approached by two men in their early 20s. One of the men hit the victim on the head with a gun and then stole his wallet, cash, and cell phone. The victim was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening cuts to the head. The police have not made an arrest.
