Police report that at 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday morning, a 40-year-old man discovered cuts to his buttocks from an earlier fight he had with four unknown male suspects. Police responded to his call at Market and Castro, but said the victim was uncooperative and would not reveal the location of the fight nor the suspects. He was transported to San Francisco General for non-life-threatening injuries.

Three Robberies

On Monday at 11:47 a.m., a 60-year-old man was on Mission Street between 16th and 17th when he was approached by two men in their 30s and 40s. The suspects pushed the victim to the ground and took his wallet, money, and cell phone before fleeing on foot. One of the suspects was found by police officers and arrested.

On McCoppin Street between Otis and Valencia, a 30-year-old man got out of his car at 10:01 p.m. on Monday night and was rushed by three men of unknown age, who pummeled him and stole his cell phone. All of the suspects fled on foot, and the man was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday at 2:41 a.m. a 64-year-old taxi driver picked up a man and a woman and drove them to 12th and Howard, where the woman yanked the driver’s collar while the man demanded the driver’s property. The male suspect implied he had a gun and told the driver he didn’t want to shoot him, so the driver gave the suspects his cell phone and money. Both fled the scene on foot.
