Three More Days: Bi-Rite’s 4th Annual Toy Drive

Here are the details with drop off points at the end.

I’m requesting your support of our 4th Annual Holiday Toy Drive to support Arriba Juntos. We’re collecting new and unwrapped toys, books, art supplies, and sports equipment for kids in need living in the Mission District. The Arriba Juntos “La Posada” Toy Giveaway will bring out 1,500 low-income families to accept these toys and will take place on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015.

Our Toy Drive started Friday, December 4^th and will end on Friday, December 18^th. I’d love the support of our fellow businesses, neighbors and organizations to spread the word and get folks to drop off toys at Bi-Rite!

Toy Drive Parklet Party – Wednesday (12/16) 4:30pm to 6:30pm: Exchange for a new toy donation for a Bi-Rite Creamery Christmas cookie or Dandelion European drinking chocolate in at our “Toys & Treats” event. Co-hosted by Dandelion Chocolate at their new parklet. We’ll welcome all generous souls with a free holiday photo booth and free Four Barrel coffee! Paxton Gate will be on site with selected toys for purchase for those who’d like to give on the spot.

Here’s 3 MORE WAYS you can help:
1. DONATE: Drop off donations at the decorated bin at Bi-Rite 18^th or Bi-Rite Creamery.

2. PROMOTE: Hang a toy drive poster at your biz or org. Verbally spread the word amongst your neighbors, clients and customers.
3. FORWARD: Send a blast through your respective lists/newsletters. Send this email to other local businesses, schools and organizations.

WHO:
 Arriba Juntos a Mission-based community organization fostering self-sufficiency through occupational training and job opportunities for our neediest neighbors, for almost 50 years.

WHAT: We’re looking for new and unwrapped:

–Toys (for kids 12 and under)
–Books (for kids 16 and under)
–Sports equipment (e.g. balls , bats, gloves, racquets)
–Art supplies (unused)

WHERE:

Folks can drop off goodies in the decorated toy drive bins until Friday, December 18^th at:
