We’re publishing a new My Mission Zine in a few weeks – a sort of guide to the neighborhood, filled with thoughts from those who live here as well as maps of resources and local haunts.
We’re asking for your help to crowd source and update our maps!
Today’s map: Biking in the Mission. Any stores or information that we’ve left out? Let us know in the comments and we will add them.
Many thanks!

– Cesar Chávez has a real bike lane now. All the way from Guerrero to Illinois, in both directions! – Folsom also has bike lane between 24th and CC (just added 2 weeks ago).
– Seconding the mention of that 13 mph Green Wave on Folsom, which turns it into an awesome bike highway. (I think Harrison also got a Green Wave recently, but i’m not sure).
– 24th St: car/bus congestion makes it one of the safest and fastest ways across the Mission, even though it’s not a designated bike route
How about the fact that the lights on Folsom are timed at 13mph just for bikes?
Good idea. We’ll see if we can get this on in some way…Thank you!
Looks great! Pedal Revolution is indicated on 22nd Street, not 21st, but I don’t see other issues.
Would you consider a map of popular bike chop shop locations in the neighborhood?!
Thank you for taking a good look at this. We will make the fix. And interesting idea on the chop shops…..
