Robbery with a side of Carjacking:
At 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at 19th and York Streets, a 49-year-old male exited a running, white vehicle while a 40-year-old man produced a handgun, signaling for the victim to exit his vehicle. The suspect then entered the vehicle and fled the scene. The victim was not injured. No arrests have been made.
Robbery with Force on 16th and Mission:
At 3:30 p.m., on Tuesday afternoon, two male suspects approached 16th and Mission Streets in a white sudan, while a 31-year-old male sat at a bus stop. The suspects approached the victim, then first suspect snatched the victim’s necklace. Both suspects then proceeded to flee the area in their white sudan. There were no reported injuries. No arrests have been made.
Arson on 24th Street:
Police responded to a call regarding a 35-year-old male subject setting a fire at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect. There were no reported injuries.
Aggravated Assault and Brandishing of a Weapon on Valencia:
Around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night, a 25-year-old male walked into a restroom on the 500 block of Valencia Street, when he was approached by 28-year-old male who began asking him questions. Another suspect, a 19-year-old male, entered the bathroom and both suspects proceeded to punch and kick the victim. The victim then followed both suspects outside, when the 28-year-old suspect brandished a handgun. Police arrived, and all suspects, two others, a 18-year-old male and 19-year-old male, walked away.
The victim had injuries including swelling to his face and nose and was sent to San Francisco General Hospital with non-life threatening conditions. Arrests have been made.
