An argument broke out on Sunday at 12:45 a.m inside a store on 18th Street between Noe and Church Streets, ending with a victim being assaulted with a bat, according to the police report.

The  suspect, 35 to 40 years old,  kicked the front door of the store, shattering the glass, and then chased the 44-year-old victim from the store with a baseball bat.

The suspect hit the victim with the bat, causing contusions to the back of his legs and breaking the man’s elbow.

No arrests were made.

Also on Sunday, a 36-year-old man was attacked by two men on 20th and Folsom Streets. The victim noticed the two men walking behind him and was then hit in the back of his head and face. He was treated at San Francisco General Hospital for lacerations to his face and a bump on the back of his head.

No arrests were made.

Saturday, June 20, 3:10 a.m.

An evening of drinking ended badly.

Two women – one 22 and another 24 – spent Friday evening and into early Saturday morning drinking with a 24-year-old man on Capp between Mission and South Van Ness, according to the police report.

The two women got into a fight around 3:10 a.m. with the older woman breaking beer bottles over the 22-year-old woman’s head.

Their companion broke up the fight and the women were transported to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for lacerations.

The suspect was taken into custody.

Saturday, June 20, 9:40 p.m. A 26-year-old woman was robbed by a 20-something man on Hartford and 18th Street.  The suspect grabbed her purse,  dumped its contents on the ground and then picked them up and fled with them on foot.

The victim was left with redness on her neck but was not transported to the hospital. 

Sunday, June 21, 3:30 a.m. A 38-year-old woman and a 39-year-old women were inside a home on Shotwell Street between 22nd Street and 23rd Street when they heard a noise. When they checked it out, they found two bikes missing from the front hallway and damage to the front door.

Sunday, June 21, 10:30 p.m. A 29-year-old woman was robbed by two males on Florida and 24th Street. The men approached her from behind and grabbed her purse and cellphone. The first suspect fled with the property and the second fled in an SUV that was waiting for him.

The woman was left with a bruised arm and a scraped knee, but refused medical treatment.

No arrests were made.
