Weather today is sunny, with an expected high of 60˚ and low of 50˚. A forecast of the next ten days can be found here.

Today’s block: 14th to the freeway, Harrison to Trainor

Another border block, this one is pretty dull: The entire thing is taken up by OfficeMax and its parking lot, no embellishment, no beauty, no nothing. Take a stroll through the parked cars and the people doing their stationery shopping to pop into the office supply store, where you can treat yourself to that set of multicolored highlighters you’ve always wanted. Or look out at the streams of cars rushing past on 13th, adding their noise and exhaust to that already coming from the overpass above. Once you’re done admiring the local industry and nearby Best Buy, maybe check out the Nihon Whisky Lounge a block away on 14th and Folsom, where you can get thoroughly smashed if this has all been a rather lackluster experience.

Honestly, this may be the most boring block in the Mission.

With the light good early on, so much the better to sign on and document your block. Don’t wait! Let us know what day and block you would like at info@missionlocal.com.

You can see a map of all of the blocks here. The blocks in grey are being saved for others who have signed up. Let us save a block for you as well.
