The drive-thru on 16th and Potrero was held up by a man who with a fake gun.

San Francisco police report several incidents this weekend in the Mission. According to police there were at least four robberies, one of them involving a kidnapping, another the McDonald’s drive-thru. The Mission also had one non-fatal stabbing.

Late Friday night, at around 10 p.m., three suspects approached a 25-year-old man from behind and dragged him to a silver four-door car. Two of the suspects hit him several times, took his property, and then push him out of the vehicle. Although the police has not specified the pick up or drop off of the kidnapping, they did say the trip happened between 21st and Folsom and 30th and Mission. Suspects fled the scene in their vehicle. The victim lost his wallet, cell phone, and money. No arrests have been made. The victim was treated for minor shoulder and neck pain and released at the scene.

On Saturday afternoon, at around 1 p.m., a man parked his black SUV on Market and Castro and went to order food. When he returned to his car, he saw a man described as between 25 to 35-years-old, sitting in the driver’s seat. Once spotted, the suspect took off in the car. The victim’s car was recovered, but no arrests have been made.

Early morning  Saturday, at around 4 a.m., two men approached a 31 year old man standing on Mission Street and 17th, and stabbed him with a knife in the torso. The suspects fled on foot and no arrests have been made. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, and police describe his injuries as non-life threatening.

Also early morning on Saturday, at around 12:20 a.m., two men in their 20s approached a 24-year old man on Shotwell and 22nd and threatened him with a knife. One of the suspects punched the victim while the other one held the victim’s arms. The victim fell to the ground and the suspects took his money, smart phone, necklace and keys before fleeing the scene. The victim had non-life threatening injuries.

On Sunday night, at around 8:55 p.m., a man in his 40s was on 16th and Potrero when he walked up to the McDonald’s drive-thru and simulated a gun. The suspect then reached in and took money from the register before fleeing on foot. The restaurant’s drive-thru is open 24hrs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s.
