Residents in the SF neighborhoods where the two stores are located get ready to lose their minds as the sweet and smoky aromas involved with producing the foods for the Thanksgiving menu lure them in; in addition to the traditional roast turkey dinner kits featuring sides such as Bi-Rite’s classic Butternut Squash & Apple Soup with Fresh Sage, and Cranberry-Tangerine Relish with Honey, there are several brand new items for 2014, including Dungeness Crab Bisque, Kale & Roasted Squash with Pumpkins Seeds, and Citrus-Roasted Rainbow Carrots with Sumac, Dried Apricots & Grilled Winter Chicories; four wines from Healdsburg cult producer Copain Wines have been selected by Bi-Rite’s in-house sommelier for menu pairing
Pre-order deadline is 5pm on November 25; menus can be accessed online at www.biritemarket.com or/and pre-orders placed via https://www.instacart.com/store/bi-rite-holiday; Thanksgiving items and menus can also be ordered direct at 415-241-9760, option #3; they will be available in Bi-Rite stores for purchase, and for pre-order pick-up, starting Saturday, November 22 through Sunday, November 30. Bi-Rite Market is closed on Thanksgiving Day
