After the Giants tied the series with the Royals 2-2, revelers took to the streets. At around 9:40 p.m. a trashcan and a mattress were lit on fire on Mission and 23rd Streets. Police attempted to extinguish the fire as fire fighters arrived shortly after.

Tonight’s victory score was 11-4.

  1. Because of the stupidity of the fans, I’ve come to hate the Giants and hope they do not win the series — why do these morons try to burn down our neighborhood? Loosers.

      1. does smashing muni busses and burning mattresses in the middle of the street show “civic spirit” ???? Wasting millions of city dollars cleaning up the mess caused by these morons is “civic spirit?” I don’t think so.
