You get thirsty waiting for the bus on Folsom and 22nd.

It’s 8 a.m. and it’s 55.4°. Details for the next ten days are here.

I walked the block between 22nd and 23rd on Shotwell and Folsom. I realized it takes more time to get lighter now because of daylight savings time.

I saw an old red Volkswagen car and it reminded me of when my mom used to hurry me and my sister to get in and get to school. No rush this time as Cesar Chavez Elementary was right there.

  1. Although I lived in Eureka Valley, known now to most as The Castro, I went to Mission High and with my Mom and sisters shopped on Mission Street. Of the many memories were going to the movies with girlfriends. We saw ‘the Good, The Bad and The Ugly’ for a friend’s 15th birthday with pizza after at place near by. Teens on Mission. Never had to say street. It was known. I’m going down Mission where you’d be.
